Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources.

  1. Connect Power: Plug the AC power cord into a 120V outlet.
  2. Connect Antenna: Attach the supplied AM loop antenna and FM wire antenna to their respective terminals on the back.
  3. Connect Auxiliary Device (Optional): Use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect a device to the AUX IN jack.
  4. Insert Batteries in Remote: Install two AAA batteries in the remote control.

WARNING! Do not place the system in enclosed cabinets or near heat vents, as this may cause overheating.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the system; the display will light up.

  1. Set the Clock: Press and hold the ALARM SET button, then use the TUNE/TIME SET buttons to set the correct time.
  2. Tune Radio Stations: Press the RADIO button. Use TUNE or SCAN to find a station, then press and hold a numbered PRESET button (1-6) to save it.
  3. Load CDs: Press the LOAD button for the desired disc slot (DISC 1, 2, or 3). Insert a CD when the indicator light flashes.
  4. Adjust Sound: Use the BASS and TREBLE controls on the remote or top panel to suit your preference.

CAUTION! Handle CDs by the edges to avoid fingerprints and scratches.

Sound Settings: BASS and TREBLE adjustment (via remote or buttons). Radio: Manual TUNE, SCAN, PRESET memory. CD: PLAY MODE (Random, Repeat, Program, Intro). Clock/Alarm: Set time, alarm 1 & 2 source (Radio, CD, Buzzer) and volume.

Connecting Devices

Auxiliary Input: Connect portable music players, computers, or TVs using a 3.5mm audio cable. Headphones: Plug into front panel jack for private listening.

  1. Ensure the system and external device are powered off.
  2. Connect one end of the audio cable to the device's headphone/line-out jack.
  3. Connect the other end to the AUX IN jack on the back of the Wave system.
  4. Press the AUX button on the remote or front panel to select the auxiliary input.

Tip: For best audio quality, set the external device's volume to about 75% and use the Wave system's volume control.

Playing CDs & Media

Supports Audio CDs, CD-R, and CD-RW discs.

  1. Load Discs: Press LOAD for an empty slot, insert CD when light flashes.
  2. Play: Press the CD button, then select a disc (1, 2, or 3). Press PLAY.
  3. Skip Tracks: Use SKIP (NEXT/PREV) buttons.
  4. Play Modes: Press PLAY MODE to cycle through Normal, Random (shuffle), Repeat One, Repeat All, or Program play.
  5. Eject: Press EJECT for the specific disc slot, or press and hold EJECT to eject all discs.
  6. Intro Scan: Press INTRO SCAN to play the first 10 seconds of each track.
  7. Program Play: In STOP mode, press PROGRAM, then use number buttons to select tracks in your desired order.

WARNING! Do not move the system while a disc is playing. Do not insert damaged or irregularly shaped discs.

Clock & Alarm Features

Dual Alarms: Set two independent wake-up times. Wake to Radio, CD, or Buzzer. Snooze: Press any button (except POWER) during alarm to snooze for 9 minutes.

  1. Set Time: Hold ALARM SET, adjust time with TUNE/TIME SET buttons.
  2. Set Alarm 1: Press ALARM SET once, select source (RADIO, CD, BUZZER) and volume, set time.
  3. Set Alarm 2: Press ALARM SET twice, repeat setup process.
  4. Enable/Disable: Press the ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button on the remote to turn each alarm ON/OFF.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug the system before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the cabinet and display. For stubborn marks, dampen cloth slightly with water. Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Never spray liquids directly onto the unit. Keep CDs clean and free of scratches.
