Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Choose a stable, ventilated location for the media center.

  1. Place speakers: Position front left/right, center, and surround speakers as indicated in the placement guide.
  2. Connect Acoustimass module: Use provided cable to connect to media center.
  3. Connect to TV: Use component video or composite video cable from media center to TV.
  4. Connect power: Plug media center and Acoustimass module into AC outlets.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation around media center. Do not block vents.

First-Time Setup

Power on the system; follow on-screen prompts.

  1. Run ADAPTiQ calibration: Put on ADAPTiQ headset, press ADAPTiQ button, follow audio tones.
  2. Set up remote: Program remote to control TV and other components.
  3. Configure inputs: Assign names to connected sources (DVD, Cable, etc.).
  4. Tune radio: Auto-scan to store AM/FM stations.

Connecting Devices

Connect sources to media center inputs: DVD player, cable box, game console, etc.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting.
  2. Use appropriate cables: Optical for digital audio, component for HD video.
  3. Assign input: In system menu, select input and assign name/type.
  4. Test connection: Select input on remote to verify audio/video.

Tip: Use high-quality cables for best performance.

Playing Media

Supports DVD, CD, MP3 CD playback.

  1. Insert disc: Press EJECT, place disc in tray, close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use navigation for title/chapter selection.
  3. Audio formats: For DVD-Audio, select audio format from disc menu.
  4. MP3 CD: Navigate folders using remote.
  5. Repeat/Shuffle: Access from on-screen menu during playback.

WARNING! Do not move system during disc playback.
