Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Connect power: Plug detachable AC power cord into rear port and wall outlet.
  2. Position system: Ensure at least 4 inches clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.
  3. Connect antenna: Attach included AM loop antenna and FM wire antenna.
  4. Connect auxiliary device: Use 3.5mm audio cable to connect external source to AUX IN jack.
  5. Insert batteries: Install two AAA batteries in remote control.

WARNING! Do not place near heat sources or in direct sunlight. Ensure proper ventilation to prevent overheating.

First-Time Use

Press POWER button on front panel or remote to turn on system.

  1. Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set time.
  2. Set alarms: Press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button, select wake source (CD or RADIO), set time and volume.
  3. Tune radio: Press BAND to select AM or FM, use TUNE buttons to find station.
  4. Save presets: Tune to desired station, press and hold preset button (1-6) for 2 seconds.
  5. Adjust tone: Press TONE button to cycle through bass and treble settings.

CAUTION! Handle CD player mechanism gently. Do not force discs into slot.

Display Indicators: Clock, ALARM 1/2, CD, RADIO, AUX, REPEAT, RANDOM, BASS, TREBLE, MUTE. Tone Settings: BASS +2/+1/0/-1/-2, TREBLE +2/+1/0/-1/-2. Alarm Settings: Wake to CD (last played) or RADIO (last station), adjustable volume, snooze (10 minutes).

Connecting External Devices

Auxiliary Input: Connect MP3 player, smartphone, tablet, or computer audio output.

  1. Turn off system before connecting.
  2. Use 3.5mm stereo audio cable (not included).
  3. Connect cable from device's headphone/line output to AUX IN jack on rear.
  4. Press AUX button on remote or front panel to select auxiliary input.
  5. Adjust volume on both device and Wave System for optimal level.

Tip: For best sound quality, set connected device's volume to 75% and adjust using system's volume control.

Playing CDs

Supports audio CDs, CD-R, CD-RW (must be finalised).

  1. Insert disc: Press CD OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in tray, press again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; system automatically starts playback.
  3. Skip tracks: Press PREV or NEXT to move between tracks.
  4. Pause: Press PAUSE; press again to resume.
  5. Stop: Press STOP; press PLAY to resume from stop point.
  6. Repeat: Press REPEAT for repeat track, press twice for repeat all, press again to cancel.
  7. Random: Press RANDOM to play tracks in random order.
  8. Eject: Press CD OPEN/CLOSE during stop mode.

WARNING! Do not touch laser lens. Keep discs clean and free of scratches. Use only standard 12cm CDs.

Radio Operation

AM/FM digital tuner with 6 presets per band.

  1. Select band: Press BAND to toggle between AM and FM.
  2. Tune manually: Press TUNE up/down to scan frequencies.
  3. Auto-scan: Press and hold TUNE for 2 seconds to auto-scan for next strong station.
  4. Save preset: Tune to station, press and hold desired PRESET button (1-6) until display flashes.
  5. Recall preset: Press PRESET button briefly to select saved station.
  6. Improve reception: Reposition FM wire antenna; rotate AM loop antenna for best signal.

Note: FM stereo indicator appears when receiving stereo signal. In weak areas, mono may provide clearer sound.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug from wall outlet before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth slightly with water only.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or sprays. Do not allow moisture to enter vents or controls. Clean CD lens only with approved CD lens cleaner if needed.
