Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources and moisture.

  1. Connect Power: Plug the AC power adapter into the unit and then into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.

Connecting External Devices

Playing CDs

Supports standard audio CDs (CD-DA).

  1. Insert Disc: Gently insert an audio CD into the slot-load mechanism. The unit will pull it in and begin playback automatically (if Auto Play is enabled).
  2. Basic Playback: Use PLAY, PAUSE, STOP, PREV (previous track), NEXT (next track).
  3. Stop & Eject: Press STOP once to stop playback, press again or press EJECT to remove disc.
  4. Repeat/Random: Press REPEAT button to cycle through repeat modes (Off, Track, All). Press RANDOM to play tracks in random order.
  5. Skip/Search: Use PREV/NEXT for track skip. Press and hold to fast-forward or rewind within a track.
  6. Display Info: Press DISPLAY (or INFO) to show track number and elapsed time.

WARNING! Do not insert damaged, non-standard, or mini CDs. Do not force disc into slot. Keep fingers clear of loading mechanism.

Clock & Alarm Features

Dual independent alarms (ALARM 1, ALARM 2).

  1. Set Alarm Time: Press and hold ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button, then use TUNE/TIME SET to set hour and minute.
  2. Set Alarm Source: While setting time, press BAND to cycle between Radio (last station), CD, or Buzzer.
  3. Set Alarm Volume: For radio/CD alarms, set desired volume level before alarm activates (system will remember).
  4. Enable/Disable Alarm: Press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 briefly to toggle that alarm ON/OFF (icon shows on display).
  5. Snooze: When alarm sounds, press any button (except POWER) for 9-minute snooze.
  6. Sleep Timer: Press SLEEP on remote to set shut-off timer (90 to 10 minutes in decrements).

Care & Maintenance

Unplug unit before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For stubborn spots, dampen cloth slightly with water only. Do not use solvents or abrasives.

CD Lens Cleaning: Use commercially available CD lens cleaning disc if playback issues arise. Keep ventilation openings free of dust.

CAUTION! Never spray liquids directly onto unit. Avoid getting moisture into openings or controls.
