Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources.

  1. Connect power: Plug detachable power cord into rear of unit and into AC outlet.
  2. Connect antenna: Attach included AM loop antenna and FM wire antenna to rear terminals.
  3. Connect auxiliary device: Use 3.5mm audio cable from external device to AUX IN jack.
  4. Position unit: Ensure at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.

WARNING! Do not place near water or moisture. Use only the provided power cord.

First-Time Setup

Plug in power cord; unit will beep and display "HELLO".

  1. Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use HOUR/MINUTE buttons to set time.
  2. Set alarms: Press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2, select radio or CD as source, set time and volume.
  3. Tune radio: Press BAND to select AM/FM, use TUNE or PRESET buttons to find stations.
  4. Save presets: Tune to desired station, press and hold a PRESET button (1-6) until display confirms.

Connecting Devices

Auxiliary Input: For MP3 players, smartphones, tablets. Headphones: Standard 3.5mm jack.

  1. Turn off system before connecting devices.
  2. Connect 3.5mm audio cable from device's headphone jack to AUX IN on rear.
  3. Press AUX on remote or front panel to select auxiliary input.
  4. Adjust volume on both system and external device for optimal level.

Tip: For best sound quality, set external device volume to about 75% max.

Playing CDs

Supports audio CDs, CD-R, CD-RW.

  1. Insert disc: Press CD OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up in tray, press again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; display shows track number and elapsed time.
  3. Skip tracks: Press NEXT or PREVIOUS to skip forward/back.
  4. Pause: Press PAUSE; press again to resume.
  5. Repeat: Press REPEAT to cycle through track repeat, disc repeat, or off.
  6. Shuffle: Press SHUFFLE to play tracks in random order.
  7. Stop: Press STOP; press CD OPEN/CLOSE to eject disc.
  8. Program play: Not available on this model.

WARNING! Do not touch laser lens; keep discs clean and free of scratches.

Radio Functions

AM/FM tuning with 6 presets per band.

  1. Select band: Press BAND to toggle between AM and FM.
  2. Tune manually: Press and hold TUNE up/down for continuous scanning; press briefly for step tuning.
  3. Use presets: Press PRESET up/down to cycle through saved stations.
  4. Save preset: Tune to station, press and hold desired PRESET button (1-6) for 2 seconds.
  5. FM stereo/mono: In FM mode, press and hold TUNE down for 2 seconds to toggle (for weak signals).

Tip: Extend FM wire antenna fully and position for best reception.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth slightly with water.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Never spray liquids directly on unit.
