Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Connect power: Plug AC power cord into wall outlet (120V AC).
  2. Connect antenna: Attach included AM loop antenna and FM wire antenna.
  3. Position unit: Place at least 4 inches from walls for optimal sound.
  4. Insert batteries: Install 2 AAA batteries in remote control.

First-Time Setup

Power on system; follow initial setup procedure.

Playing CDs

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place CD label-side up.

  3. Pause: Press PLAY/PAUSE to temporarily stop playback.
  4. Stop: Press STOP; press again to return to beginning.
  5. Repeat: Press REPEAT for single track or all tracks.
  6. Eject: Press OPEN/CLOSE to remove disc.
  7. Random play: Press SHUFFLE for random track order.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or warped CDs. Keep discs clean.

Radio Operation

AM/FM tuning with 6 presets (3 AM, 3 FM).

  1. Select band: Press BAND to choose AM or FM.
  2. Tune manually: Use TUNE buttons to find station.
  3. Set preset: Tune to station, press and hold PRESET (1-6).
  4. Recall preset: Press PRESET number (1-6).
  5. Auto-scan: Press and hold TUNE for automatic station search.

Note: For best FM reception, fully extend wire antenna and position properly.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth with water only.
