Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources.

  1. Connect power: Plug the AC power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  2. Extend FM antenna: Fully extend the wire FM antenna for best reception.
  3. Position AM antenna: Rotate the AM antenna loop for optimal AM reception.
  4. Connect auxiliary device (optional): Use 3.5mm audio cable to connect to AUX IN jack.

WARNING! Do not place near water or moisture. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.

First-Time Setup

Plug in power; the system will enter standby mode (clock display).

  1. Set the clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use TUNE/TIME SET buttons to adjust time.
  2. Tune radio stations: Press BAND to select AM/FM, use TUNE to find station, press PRESET to store.
  3. Set alarms: Press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 button, set time and source (Radio, CD, or Buzzer).

Connecting Devices

Auxiliary Input: Connect MP3 player, smartphone, or tablet via 3.5mm audio cable.

  1. Ensure Wave Radio is off or in standby.
  2. Connect cable from device's headphone output to AUX IN jack on back of radio.
  3. Press AUX button on remote or front panel to select auxiliary input.
  4. Start playback on your external device and adjust volume on the Wave Radio.

Tip: For best sound quality, set your external device's volume to about 75% and use the Wave Radio's volume control.

Playing CDs

Supports audio CDs, CD-R, and CD-RW discs.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE to open CD tray, place disc label-side up, press again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; display shows track number and elapsed time.
  3. Skip tracks: Press SKIP forward or backward to select tracks.
  4. Pause/Stop: Press PAUSE to temporarily halt; press STOP to stop playback.
  5. Repeat/Random: Press REPEAT to repeat track or disc; press RANDOM for shuffle play.
  6. Eject: Press OPEN/CLOSE to eject disc when stopped.

WARNING! Do not touch laser lens. Keep discs clean and free of scratches.

Clock and Alarm Functions

Set Clock: Hold CLOCK button, use TUNE/TIME SET to adjust, press CLOCK to confirm.

Set Alarms: Press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2, set time with TUNE/TIME SET, select source (RADIO, CD, BUZZER) with BAND button, set volume with VOLUME, press ALARM button again to save.

Snooze: Press SNOOZE on remote or top of unit to pause alarm for 9 minutes.

Sleep Timer: Press SLEEP on remote to set sleep duration (90 to 10 minutes in decrements).

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For stubborn spots, dampen cloth slightly with water only.

CD Lens Cleaning: Use commercial CD lens cleaner if playback issues occur.

CAUTION! Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or sprays. Never allow liquid into openings.
