Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources and moisture.

  1. Connect power: Plug the AC power cord into a standard 120V AC outlet.
  2. Connect antenna: Attach the provided AM loop antenna and FM wire antenna for radio reception.
  3. Connect auxiliary device (optional): Use a 3.5mm audio cable to connect an external device to the AUX IN jack.
  4. Insert batteries into remote control.

WARNING! Do not place the system in enclosed spaces or block ventilation openings. Ensure power outlet is easily accessible.

First-Time Setup

Plug in the system; the display will illuminate.

  1. Set the clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set time.
  2. Tune radio stations: Press AM/FM to select band, use TUNE to find station, press and hold a PRESET button (1-6) to store.
  3. Adjust tone (optional): Use the BASS and TREBLE controls on the remote to customize sound.
  4. For CD play: Load a CD; playback will start automatically if system is set to CD mode.

CAUTION! Handle the system with care; avoid placing heavy objects on top.

Connecting Devices

Auxiliary Input: For MP3 players, smartphones, tablets. Headphones: Standard 3.5mm jack.

  1. Ensure system is off before connecting.
  2. Connect 3.5mm audio cable from device's headphone output to system's AUX IN.
  3. Press AUX button on front panel or remote to select auxiliary input.
  4. Start playback on the external device and adjust volume on the Wave system.

Tip: For best audio quality, set the external device's volume to about 75% and use the Wave system's volume control for final adjustment.

Playing CDs & Using Radio

Supports audio CDs, CD-R, CD-RW.

  1. Insert disc: Press CD OPEN/CLOSE, place CD label-side up, press again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use SKIP (>>| and |<<) for next/previous track.
  3. Stop/Eject: Press STOP; press CD OPEN/CLOSE to eject.
  4. Repeat/Random: Press REPEAT for track/disc repeat; press RANDOM for shuffle play.
  5. Radio: Press AM/FM to select band, use TUNE to find station, press PRESET (1-6) to recall saved stations.
  6. Scan: Press and hold TUNE up/down for automatic station scanning.
  7. Sleep Timer: Press SLEEP to set system to turn off after 15-90 minutes.

WARNING! Do not touch the CD lens. Use only clean, undamaged discs. Eject disc before moving system.

Clock & Alarm Features

Dual Alarms: Can be set to wake to radio, CD, or buzzer tone.

  1. Set Clock: Hold CLOCK, set time with HOUR/MINUTE.
  2. Set Alarm 1: Hold ALARM 1, set time, choose source (RADIO, CD, BUZZER). For radio/CD, ensure source is ready.
  3. Set Alarm 2: Repeat for ALARM 2.
  4. Enable/Disable: Press ALARM 1 or ALARM 2 briefly to toggle on/off (icon shows on display).
  5. Snooze: Press SNOOZE or any button during alarm to pause for 9 minutes.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For stubborn marks, dampen cloth slightly with water only.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or sprays directly on the unit. Do not allow moisture into openings.
