Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources.

  1. Connect power: Plug power cord into AC outlet.
  2. Connect antenna: Attach included AM loop antenna and FM wire antenna.
  3. Connect auxiliary device: Use 3.5mm audio cable to connect external player to AUX IN jack.
  4. Insert batteries into remote control.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents on rear of unit.

First-Time Setup

Plug in power cord; system will beep and display "HELLO".

  1. Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use TUNE/TIME SET buttons to set time.
  2. Set radio presets: Tune to desired station, press and hold a PRESET button (1-6) to store.
  3. Set alarm: Press ALARM button repeatedly to select ALARM 1 or 2, use TUNE/TIME SET to set time and source (RADIO or CD).
  4. Adjust sound: Use BASS and TREBLE controls on remote for personalized sound.

Sound Settings: Adjust BASS and TREBLE via remote. Radio: Manual tuning with TUNE buttons; store presets. Clock/Alarm: Set time, alarm time, and wake source (RADIO/CD). CD: Play, pause, stop, skip tracks, repeat, random play.

Connecting Devices

Auxiliary Input: Connect portable music player, smartphone, or tablet via 3.5mm audio cable.

  1. Turn off system before connecting.
  2. Plug cable into AUX IN jack on rear of unit.
  3. Select AUX mode by pressing FUNCTION button on remote until "AUX" displays.
  4. Start playback on external device.

Tip: For best sound quality, set external device volume to about 75%.

Playing Media

Supports audio CDs and MP3 CDs.

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, load CD label-side up.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use SKIP buttons to navigate tracks.
  3. Stop: Press STOP; eject with OPEN/CLOSE.
  4. Repeat/Random: Press REPEAT or RANDOM button during playback.
  5. MP3 CD navigation: Use SKIP to move between folders and tracks.
  6. Pause: Press PLAY/PAUSE to temporarily halt playback.

WARNING! Do not insert damaged or irregular-shaped discs. Keep fingers clear of slot.

Clock and Alarm Features

Clock: Press CLOCK to view time; hold to set. Alarm: Dual alarms (ALARM 1, ALARM 2). Set alarm time and source (RADIO or CD). Snooze: Press SNOOZE button or any button on remote for 9 extra minutes.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For CD lens, use approved CD lens cleaner only.

CAUTION! Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners. Avoid spraying near unit.
