Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources and moisture.

  1. Connect power: Plug AC power cord into wall outlet (120V AC, 60Hz).
  2. Set up antenna: Extend AM loop antenna and FM wire antenna for best reception.
  3. Insert batteries: Install two AA batteries in remote control.
  4. Initial time set: Press and hold CLOCK button, then use HOUR/MINUTE buttons.

WARNING! Do not place near heat vents, radiators, or in direct sunlight. Ensure proper ventilation.

First-Time Use

Power on system; familiarize yourself with basic operations.

Connecting Devices

Auxiliary Input: 3.5mm stereo jack on rear panel for external audio sources.

  2. Connect audio cable from device's headphone/output jack to AUX IN on Wave II.
  3. Press AUX button on remote or front panel to select auxiliary input.
  4. Adjust volume on both Wave II and connected device for optimal level.

Playing CDs & Media

Supports audio CDs, CD-R, and CD-RW discs.

  1. Insert disc: Press CD OPEN/CLOSE, place CD label-side up in tray.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; system reads TOC then begins playback.
  3. Navigate: PREV/NEXT for tracks; press and hold for fast forward/rewind.
  4. Pause: Press PAUSE; press again to resume.
  5. Stop: Press STOP; press OPEN/CLOSE to eject disc.
  6. Random play: Press SHUFFLE (if available on remote) for random track order.
  7. Repeat: Press REPEAT to repeat current track or entire disc.
  8. Program play: Use PROGRAM button to create custom play sequences.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped CDs. Keep CD lens clean.

Radio Operation

AM/FM tuner with 6 presets per band.

  1. Select band: Press AM/FM button to toggle between bands.
  2. Tune manually: Press TUNE up/down buttons to scan frequencies.
  3. Auto-scan: Press and hold TUNE for automatic station search.
  4. Set presets: Tune to desired station, press and hold preset button (1-6) for 2 seconds.
  5. Recall presets: Press preset button briefly to select saved station.
  6. Improve reception: Adjust antenna position; FM antenna should be fully extended.

Note: For weak FM signals, connect external antenna to FM antenna terminal.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior; mild detergent if needed. Clean CD lens with approved lens cleaner only.

CAUTION! Never use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly on unit. Avoid liquid contact with controls and openings.
