Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect contents. Place speaker on stable surface in desired location.

  1. Connect to power: Plug power cord into outlet and speaker.

  3. Position speaker: Ensure at least 1 ft (30 cm) from walls for optimal sound.

First-Time Configuration

Power on speaker; follow app-guided setup.

  1. Install SoundTouch app: Download from app store.

Connecting Devices

  1. Turn on speaker and select source (e.g., Bluetooth).
  2. For Bluetooth: Enable pairing on speaker, then select "Bose SoundTouch" on your device.
  3. For AUX: Connect 3.5mm cable from device to AUX input.
  4. For Ethernet: Connect cable from router to speaker (disables Wi-Fi).

Tip: For best audio quality, use Wi-Fi streaming. Ensure devices are within range.

Using the SoundTouch App

Central control for music playback and system settings.

  1. Browse music: Access streaming services, local library, or internet radio.
  2. Play/Pause: Control playback from app.
  3. Create presets: Hold preset button (1-6) while track/station is playing.
  4. Adjust settings: Access Network, Audio, System updates.
  5. Set alarms: Create scheduled wake-up music (select models).
  6. Check software: Ensure system is up to date.

Note: App requires Wi-Fi connection. Keep app updated for latest features.

Multi-Room Audio

Play synchronized music across multiple SoundTouch speakers.

  1. Ensure all speakers are set up on same network.
  2. In app, go to "Speakers" section.
  3. Select "Create Group" and choose speakers to sync.
  4. Play music; it will stream to all grouped speakers.
  5. Adjust individual volume per speaker if needed.

Tip: For best sync, use wired Ethernet on at least one speaker. Reduce Wi-Fi interference.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth; avoid liquids and abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents or spray directly on speaker. Keep vents clear of dust.
