First-Time Setup

Charge the speaker fully before first use.

  1. Connect the USB cable to the speaker and the AC adapter.
  2. Plug the adapter into a wall outlet. The battery indicator will light.
  3. Allow to charge until the indicator shows full (approximately 3 hours).
  4. Power on the speaker by pressing the Power button.
  5. Follow Bluetooth pairing instructions to connect your device.

Bluetooth Pairing

Pair with your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

  1. Turn on the speaker. The Bluetooth indicator will blink blue.
  2. On your device, enable Bluetooth and search for devices.
  3. Select "Bose SoundLink Mini" from the list.
  4. If prompted, enter PIN "0000" (four zeros).
  5. The speaker will announce "Connected to [device name]".

Tip: The speaker can remember up to 8 devices. To pair a new device, press and hold the Bluetooth button until the indicator blinks blue.

Using the Speakerphone

Make and receive calls hands-free.

  1. Ensure the speaker is connected to your phone via Bluetooth.
  2. When a call comes in, press the Multi-function button to answer.
  3. Speak normally; the built-in microphone will pick up your voice.
  4. Press the Multi-function button again to end the call.
  5. To reject a call, press and hold the Multi-function button.

WARNING! For best microphone performance, place the speaker within 2 feet (0.6 meters) of your mouth.

Charging the Battery

Monitor battery level via the status LED.

  1. Connect the USB cable to the speaker's charging port.
  2. Connect the other end to the AC adapter and plug into an outlet.
  3. The LED will glow amber while charging.
  4. When fully charged, the LED will turn green.
  5. Disconnect the cable after charging is complete.

CAUTION! Do not expose the speaker or battery to extreme temperatures. Do not attempt to disassemble or replace the battery.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Keep the speaker away from water and moisture. Do not submerge. Store in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting
