First-Time Setup

Power on the speaker and prepare for Bluetooth pairing.

Charge the speaker: Connect the USB cable to the speaker and AC adapter, then plug into a power outlet.
Power on: Press and hold the Power button until you hear the power-on tone and see the status light.
Enable Bluetooth on your device (phone/tablet/computer).
Press the Bluetooth button on the speaker to enter pairing mode (voice prompt "Ready to pair" and blinking blue light).
Select "Bose SoundLink Mini" from your device's Bluetooth list to connect.

Controls and Indicators

Connecting Devices

Bluetooth: Primary wireless method. AUX: Wired connection for non-Bluetooth sources.

For Bluetooth: Follow First-Time Setup steps to pair. For additional devices, press Bluetooth button and select from your device's list.
For AUX: Use a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to connect the speaker's AUX input to your device's headphone jack.
Switch audio source: If both Bluetooth and AUX are connected, the speaker prioritizes AUX input.

Tip: For best Bluetooth performance, keep the speaker and source device within 30 feet and free of obstructions.

Charging the Speaker

Use the included USB cable and AC adapter.

Connect the Micro-USB end to the charging port on the back of the speaker.
Connect the USB end to the AC adapter, then plug into a wall outlet.
Status light turns amber while charging, and solid amber when fully charged (approx. 3 hours).
Disconnect once fully charged to preserve battery life.

WARNING! Do not use damaged cables or adapters. Charge only in dry environments. Do not expose the battery to extreme heat.

Voice Prompts & Audio Tones

Voice prompts (English) guide you through key functions. Audio tones provide status feedback.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug charging cable before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. For stubborn stains, slightly dampen cloth with water only.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water or use liquids, solvents, or aerosols. Avoid extreme temperatures and direct sunlight. Do not attempt to open or repair the speaker.

Troubleshooting
