Initial Setup & Pairing

  1. Charge the speaker: Connect the USB cable to the speaker and a power source. LED may glow amber during charging.
  2. Power on: Press and hold the Power/Bluetooth button until you hear a tone and the LED flashes blue.

Bluetooth Connectivity

  2. On your source device, go to Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
  3. Select "Bose SoundLink" from the discovered devices list.
  4. Once connected, play audio from your device. Control playback (play/pause/next) from your device.
  5. To switch between paired devices, pause audio on the current device and play from the new one. The speaker may automatically connect to the last used device.

Tip: For optimal performance, keep the source device within 30 feet and minimize obstructions.

Using the Auxiliary Input

Connect non-Bluetooth audio sources via the 3.5mm audio jack.

  1. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX IN port on the speaker.
  2. Connect the other end to the headphone or line-out jack of your audio device (e.g., MP3 player, laptop).
  3. Press the Auxiliary Input button on the speaker to switch to AUX mode. The LED may indicate the change.
  4. Play audio from your connected device. Use the device's controls for playback and the speaker's buttons for volume.

Note: When an AUX cable is connected, Bluetooth audio may be paused or overridden.

Battery & Charging

The built-in battery provides portable power. Charging is via USB.

  1. Charging: Use the included USB cable and power adapter. Connect to the speaker's USB port. The LED glows amber while charging and turns off when fully charged.
  2. Battery Life: Varies with volume level and audio content. A full charge typically provides up to 8-12 hours.

Voice Prompts & Alerts

To Disable/Enable Voice Prompts: Press and hold the Volume Down (-) and Mute buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds until you hear a tone. (Functionality may vary by model).
