Getting Started

Prepare your headphones for first use.

1. Charge the headphones: Connect the USB cable to the headphones and a power source. The indicator light will glow amber while charging and turn off when fully charged.
2. Power on: Slide the power switch to the ON position. You will hear a voice prompt: "Ready to connect."
3. Pair with your device: Enable Bluetooth on your device, select "Bose SoundLink" from the list of available devices.

CAUTION! Use only the provided USB cable or a certified replacement. Do not expose to extreme temperatures while charging.

Pairing and Connecting

3. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Bose SoundLink" from the list.
4. Once connected, you will hear "Connected to [device name]."

Multi-Point Connection: To connect a second device, put the first connected device in standby (pause audio), then pair the second device normally. The headphones can manage two connections at once.

Using with Your Device

Control music, calls, and voice assistants.

1. Music Playback: Press Multifunction button once to play/pause. Double-press to skip to next track. Triple-press to go back to previous track.
2. Volume: Use Volume + and - buttons.
3. Phone Calls: Press Multifunction button once to answer/end a call. Press and hold to reject a call.
4. Voice Assistant: Press and hold the Multifunction button to activate Siri, Google Assistant, etc.
5. Wired Listening: Connect the audio cable to the headphones and your device's headphone jack. The headphones will automatically switch to wired mode.

Tip: For best audio quality, ensure your device's Bluetooth is within range and free of obstructions.

Voice Prompts and Alerts

Voice prompts guide you through operation.

• "Ready to connect" – Headphones powered on and ready to pair.
• "Connected to [device name]" – Successful Bluetooth connection.
• "Battery high/medium/low" – Battery status announcement.
• "Charging" – Heard when connecting to power.
• "Battery please charge" – Critical battery level warning.
• "Power off" – Headphones shutting down.

To disable/enable voice prompts, press and hold the Volume – and Multifunction buttons simultaneously for about 5 seconds.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care ensures long-lasting performance.

1. Cleaning: Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the earcups and headband. Do not use liquids or solvents.
2. Storage: Store in the provided carrying case when not in use, especially during travel.
3. Battery: For long-term storage, charge the battery to about 50% and store in a cool, dry place.
