Getting Started

Prepare your speaker for first use.

  1. Charge the speaker: Connect the power adapter to the speaker's DC input and plug into a wall outlet. The battery indicator will light during charging.

Bluetooth Pairing

Pair with your smartphone, tablet, or computer.

  1. Turn on speaker: Press and hold Power button until tone sounds.
  2. Enable pairing: If not automatically in pairing mode, press and release the Power/Bluetooth button. You will hear "Ready to connect" and the Bluetooth LED will blink blue.
  3. On your device: Enable Bluetooth in settings, select "Bose SoundLink II" from the list of available devices.
  4. Confirm connection: You will hear "Connected to [device name]" and the Bluetooth LED will stay solid blue.

Tip: To pair with an additional device, put the speaker in pairing mode and repeat steps on the new device.

Using the Speaker

Play audio from Bluetooth or wired sources.

  1. Bluetooth audio: Play music from your paired device. Use device volume controls or speaker's +/- buttons.
  2. Wired connection: Connect a 3.5mm audio cable from your device to the speaker's AUX input. The speaker will automatically switch to auxiliary input.
  3. Hands-free calls: When a call comes in on your paired phone, press the Power/Bluetooth button once to answer. Press again to end the call.
  4. Volume adjustment: Use the +/- buttons on the speaker or your source device.
  5. Power off: Press and hold the Power/Bluetooth button until you hear the power-off tone.

WARNING! Do not expose the speaker to liquids. Avoid extreme temperatures.
