Getting Started

Power on the speaker and prepare for first use.

  1. Charge the speaker: Connect the USB-C cable to the port and a power source (5V/1A or higher recommended).
  2. Power on: Press and hold the Power button until the status LED lights white.
  3. Initial pairing: Press the Bluetooth button to enter pairing mode (LED blinks blue).
  4. Connect device: Enable Bluetooth on your device and select "Bose Sound Mini 2" from the list.

Bluetooth Pairing

Connect to Bluetooth-enabled devices for wireless audio streaming.

  1. Ensure speaker is on and not connected to another device.
  2. Press Bluetooth button; LED blinks blue and voice prompt says "Ready to pair."
  3. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Bose Sound Mini 2."
  4. Once connected, LED turns solid blue and you hear a confirmation tone.

Tip: To switch between two paired devices, pause audio on the first device and play on the second.

Using Voice Assistants

Access Siri or Google Assistant hands-free.

  1. Ensure your smartphone is paired and connected to the speaker.
  2. Activate voice assistant on your phone (enable "Hey Siri" or "Ok Google").
  3. Press and hold the Action button on the speaker until you hear a tone.
  4. Speak your command; release the button when finished.
  5. For phone calls: Press Action button once to answer, press again to end. Press and hold to reject.

Note: Voice assistant functionality depends on your smartphone's settings and compatibility.

Battery & Charging

Maximize battery life and monitor charge status.

  1. Charging: Connect USB-C cable. LED turns red while charging, green when full.
  2. Battery Check: Press Power button once when off; voice prompt announces battery level.
  3. Low Battery: LED glows amber and voice prompt warns when battery is low.
  4. Power Saving: Speaker automatically enters standby mode after 30 minutes of inactivity.

WARNING! Do not attempt to replace the battery. Contact Bose support for battery service.

Care & Maintenance

Keep your speaker clean and functioning properly.

Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, lightly dampen cloth with water. Do not use solvents or abrasives.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.

CAUTION! Although splash-resistant, do not submerge in water. Do not expose to liquids under pressure. Do not use while charging if wet.
