Installation

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable surface or mount on wall.

  1. Position soundbar: Place directly below TV on stand or use wall-mount template.
  2. Connect to TV: Use optical cable (preferred) or analog cable based on TV outputs.
  3. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into soundbar and wall outlet.
  4. Turn on TV and soundbar.

WARNING! Ensure soundbar is placed on stable surface to prevent falling. Use appropriate wall anchors if mounting.

First-Time Setup

Power on soundbar; follow audio setup.

  1. Select audio input: Press INPUT button to cycle between OPTICAL and ANALOG.
  2. Set TV audio output: Configure TV settings to output audio via optical or analog.

Connecting to Your TV

Optical Connection (Recommended): Connect optical cable from TV's DIGITAL AUDIO OUT to soundbar's OPTICAL IN. Analog Connection: Use 3.5mm to RCA cable from TV's AUDIO OUT to soundbar's ANALOG IN.

  1. Turn off TV and soundbar before connecting.
  2. Match cable type to available TV ports.
  3. Select corresponding input on soundbar using INPUT button.
  4. Configure TV audio settings to output sound through connected port.

Tip: Use optical connection for best audio quality. Ensure TV audio output is set to PCM for optical.

Using the Remote Control

Controls all primary functions of Bose Solo sound system.

  1. Power: Turns soundbar on/off.
  2. Volume: Adjusts audio level up/down.
  3. Mute: Temporarily silences audio (press again to unmute).
  4. Input: Switches between Optical and Analog audio sources.
  5. Dialogue: Toggles Dialogue Mode on/off (light indicates status).
  6. Bass +/-: Adjusts bass level in increments.
  7. TV Control: If programmed, controls TV power and volume.

WARNING! Keep remote away from moisture. Replace batteries when performance decreases.

Bluetooth (Solo 15 only): Pair with mobile devices to stream music. Press and hold Bluetooth button to enter pairing mode.

Care & Cleaning
