Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Connect power: Plug AC adapter into wall outlet and radio.
  2. Install backup batteries: Insert 2 AA batteries for clock backup.
  3. Connect antenna: Extend FM wire antenna; position AM loop antenna.
  4. Place radio: Ensure at least 4 inches clearance on all sides for proper ventilation.

First-Time Setup

Plug in power; radio will enter standby mode.

  1. Set clock: Press and hold CLOCK button, use TUNE/TIME buttons to set time.

Playing CD Media

Supports audio CDs, CD-R, CD-RW.

  1. Insert disc: Press CD OPEN/CLOSE, place disc label-side up.

  3. Pause: Press PAUSE; press again to resume.
  4. Stop: Press STOP; disc remains loaded.
  5. Eject: Press CD OPEN/CLOSE during stop mode.

  7. Shuffle: Press SHUFFLE for random track playback.
  8. Program play: Use remote to program up to 20 tracks.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped CDs. Keep CD lens clean.

Clock and Alarm Features

Clock: Set time with CLOCK and TUNE/TIME buttons. Alarm: Set AL1 and AL2 separately; choose radio (last station) or buzzer; 9-minute snooze. Sleep Timer: Press SLEEP to set 15-90 minute shut-off.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. CD lens: Use approved CD lens cleaner only.
