Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface away from heat sources and moisture.

Connecting Devices

  1. Turn off system before connecting external devices.
  2. Use standard 3.5mm stereo audio cable for AUX connection.
  3. Select AUX mode via MODE button on unit or remote.
  4. Adjust volume on both external device and Bose system.

Tip: For best audio quality, ensure external device volume is set to about 75% before adjusting system volume.

Playing CD Media

Supports Audio CDs, CD-R, CD-RW (with MP3/WMA files if compatible).

  1. Insert disc: Press OPEN/CLOSE, place CD label-side up in tray, press again to close.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; select track with numeric buttons or SKIP arrows.
  3. Pause/Stop: Press PAUSE to pause; press STOP once to stop (retains memory), twice to clear.
  4. Skip: PREV/NEXT for previous/next track.
  5. Repeat/Random: Press REPEAT for track/disc repeat; RANDOM for shuffle play.
  6. Program play: Use PROGRAM button to create custom play sequence.
  7. Resume: After STOP (once), press PLAY to resume from stop point.

WARNING! Do not touch laser lens; insert disc properly to avoid jamming. Use only clean, undamaged discs.

Radio Operation

AM/FM reception with digital tuning.

  1. Select mode: Press MODE to choose AM or FM.
  2. Tune: Use TUNING knob or arrows to manually tune; press and hold for auto-scan.
  3. Store presets: Tune to station, press and hold a PRESET button (1-6) until beep.
  4. Recall preset: Press corresponding PRESET button.
  5. Adjust reception: Reposition AM loop antenna or extend FM wire antenna for better signal.

Note: FM stereo indicator lights when receiving stereo broadcast. In weak signal areas, switch to MONO for reduced noise.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for exterior. For stubborn marks, dampen cloth slightly with water; never use solvents.

CD lens cleaning: Use commercial CD lens cleaner only if playback issues occur.

CAUTION! Do not allow moisture into openings. Never spray cleaners directly on unit.
