Specifications

Controls and Connections

Primary controls located on inline remote and ANC module.

Inline Remote (Apple devices): Center button (play/pause/answer call), Volume Up (+), Volume Down (-). Microphone for phone calls.

ANC Module: ON/OFF switch for noise cancellation. Battery compartment cover. Status LED (green = good, amber = low, red = replace battery).

Audio Connection: Plug cable into left ear cup (marked with dot) and device headphone jack. For non-Apple devices, audio plays normally but remote functions may be limited.

Using Noise Cancellation

ANC reduces constant low-frequency noise (e.g., airplane engines, office HVAC).

  1. Turn ANC on: Slide switch to ON; you may hear a slight hiss (normal).
  2. Listen: Play audio from your device; ANC works with or without audio playing.
  3. Conserve battery: Turn ANC off when not needed to extend battery life.
  4. Battery indicator: LED shows green for >10 hours, amber for <10 hours, red for replace soon.

Tip: For best noise cancellation, ensure ear cups form a seal around your ears.

Using with Apple Devices

Inline remote compatible with iPhone, iPad, iPod (models with 3.5mm jack).

  1. Connect cable to device headphone jack.
  2. Play audio: Use device controls or remote's center button to play/pause.

  4. Phone calls: Press center button once to answer/end call; press and hold to reject call.
  5. Voice control: Press and hold center button to activate Siri (if enabled).

Note: Remote may not be fully compatible with non-Apple devices; audio will still play.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug cable before cleaning. Use dry, soft cloth only; no liquids or solvents.

  1. Ear cushions: Gently wipe with dry cloth; replace if worn (available from Bose).
  2. Headband: Wipe with dry cloth; avoid stretching excessively.
  3. Cable: Store loosely coiled; avoid sharp bends or pulls.
  4. Storage: Fold headphones and place in carrying case when not in use.
