Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Connect power adapter: Plug adapter into SoundDock and wall outlet.

WARNING! Use only Bose power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation around unit.

First-Time Setup

Power on SoundDock; follow these steps.

  1. Power connection: Ensure power adapter is properly connected to unit and outlet.
  2. iPod connection: Insert iPod into dock; it should begin charging automatically.
  3. Remote setup: Install batteries in remote (CR2032).
  4. Volume adjustment: Set initial volume to medium level.

CAUTION! Do not force iPod into dock. Ensure connector alignment is correct.

  4. Playback control: Use remote for play, pause, next, previous.
  5. Mute: Press MUTE button to silence audio instantly.
  6. Charging: iPod charges automatically while docked.
  7. Multiple iPods: Remove one before inserting another.

WARNING! Do not remove iPod while music is playing at high volume.

Care & Cleaning
