First-Time Setup & Charging

Before first use, fully charge the headphones.

  1. Connect the USB-C cable to the charging port on the right ear cup.
  2. Plug the other end into a USB power source (computer or wall adapter).
  3. The LED indicator will glow amber while charging and turn off when fully charged.
  4. Initial charge time: approximately 2.5 hours.

CAUTION! Use only the provided USB-C cable or a certified replacement. Do not use damaged cables.

Controls and Indicators

All controls are located on the right ear cup. Power/Bluetooth button: On the bottom edge. Touch surface: On the outer side of the right ear cup.

Touch Controls: Tap once to play/pause or answer/end call. Swipe up/down for volume. Swipe forward/back for next/previous track. Tap and hold to reject call or activate voice assistant.

LED Indicator: Solid white: Powered on. Blinking blue: Pairing mode. Solid blue: Connected to a device. Amber: Charging. Off: Fully charged or powered off.

Voice Prompts: "Battery high," "Battery medium," "Battery low," "Connected to [device name]," "Power on," "Power off."

Pairing with Devices

Pair with smartphones, tablets, computers, or other Bluetooth audio sources.

  1. Turn on headphones by sliding the power switch to the Bluetooth symbol.
  2. On your device, enable Bluetooth in settings.
  3. Select "Bose On Ear Bluetooth" from the list of available devices.
  4. For multipoint pairing: After first connection, pair with a second device the same way; the headphones will manage both connections.

Tip: To enter pairing mode manually, press and hold the Bluetooth button until the LED blinks blue and you hear "Ready to pair."

Using with Phone Calls

The dual-microphone system provides clear voice pickup.

  1. Answer call: Tap the touch control once when phone rings.
  2. End call: Tap once during the call.
  3. Reject call: Press and hold the touch control for 2 seconds.
  4. Switch between calls (if supported by phone): Tap once to put current call on hold and answer incoming call.
  5. Mute microphone during call: Not available via headphones; use phone's mute function.

WARNING! Do not use headphones in situations where full awareness of surroundings is required (e.g., driving, cycling).

Voice Assistant Support

Works with Siri (iOS), Google Assistant (Android), and Alexa (via Bose Music app).

To activate: Press and hold the touch control until you hear a tone, then speak your command. Release to send.

Note: Voice assistant functionality depends on your device settings and app installation.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug charging cable before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe exterior surfaces.

For ear cushions: Gently wipe with a cloth slightly dampened with water and mild soap. Do not immerse in water. Allow to dry completely before use.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents, abrasives, or compressed air. Keep away from extreme heat and moisture.
