Getting Started

Charge your headphones before first use.

  1. Charge: Connect the Micro-USB cable to the charging port and a power source. LED blinks amber while charging, turns off when fully charged (approx. 2.5 hours).
  2. Power On: Slide and hold the Power/Bluetooth button until you hear "Ready to connect" and the LED blinks blue.
  3. Pair: Enable Bluetooth on your device, select "Bose OE SoundLink" from the list. You will hear "Connected to [device name]".

CAUTION! Use only the provided or certified charging cable. Do not expose to extreme temperatures while charging.

Controls and Indicators

Control module is located on the right earcup.

Buttons: Power/Bluetooth (slide and hold), Volume Up (+), Volume Down (-), Multi-function (center button).

Multi-function Button: Press to play/pause audio or answer/end a call. Press twice to skip to next track. Press three times to go back to previous track. Press and hold to activate voice assistant (Siri/Google Assistant).

LED Indicator: Blinks blue when ready to pair. Solid blue when connected. Blinks amber while charging. Off when fully charged. Blinks red when battery is low.

Pairing and Connecting

Pair with your Bluetooth device.

  1. Turn headphones on (slide and hold Power button until LED blinks blue and you hear "Ready to connect").
  2. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and turn Bluetooth on.
  3. Select "Bose OE SoundLink" from the list of available devices.
  4. You will hear "Connected to [device name]" and the LED will glow solid blue.
  5. For multipoint: With first device connected, enter pairing mode again (slide and hold Power button until you hear "Ready to connect a second device") and pair with the second device.

Tip: To clear the pairing list, turn headphones off, then slide and hold the Power button for 10 seconds until you hear "Bluetooth device list cleared".

Using with Your Device

Supports audio streaming and hands-free calling.

  1. Listening to Music: Use Volume buttons to adjust level. Press Multi-function button to play/pause.
  2. Managing Calls: Press Multi-function button to answer an incoming call. Press again to end the call. Press and hold to reject a call.
  3. Using Voice Assistant: Press and hold the Multi-function button to activate Siri or Google Assistant.
  4. Wired Listening: Connect the included audio cable to the headphone jack and your device. Headphones will operate in passive mode (no battery required).
  5. Checking Battery: Voice prompt will announce battery level when powering on or when battery is low ("Battery high", "Battery medium", "Battery low").

WARNING! Do not use at high volumes for extended periods to prevent hearing damage. Be aware of your surroundings when using in public.

Caring for Your Headphones

Unplug cables before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth only; do not use liquids or solvents.

Storage: Store in the provided carrying case when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity.

Ear Cushions: Can be replaced if worn. Contact Bose support for genuine replacement parts.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to disassemble the headphones. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.

Troubleshooting
