Getting Started

Initial setup for first-time use.

1. Charge the speaker: Connect the Micro-USB cable to the speaker and power adapter, then plug into an outlet.

Pairing with Devices

5. To switch between paired devices: Disconnect Bluetooth on the active device; the speaker will automatically connect to the other remembered device if it's in range and Bluetooth is on.

Tip: For best performance, keep the speaker and device within clear line of sight.

Using the Speaker

Operation for audio playback and calls.

1. Play/Pause: Use controls on your connected device.
2. Volume Adjustment: Press Volume Up/Down buttons on speaker or use device controls.
3. Mute: Press Mute button to temporarily silence audio (LED may indicate mute status).
4. Answer/End Call: If supported by your device, press the Mute or Bluetooth button (consult device manual).
5. Wired Connection: Connect a 3.5mm audio cable from the source to the AUX input. The speaker will automatically switch to AUX mode.
6. Power Off: Press and hold the Power button until the speaker turns off (you will hear a tone).

WARNING! Do not expose the speaker to liquids or extreme temperatures.

Charging the Battery

Charging instructions and battery care.

1. Use the provided Micro-USB cable and power adapter.
2. Connect the cable to the speaker's Micro-USB port and the adapter to a power outlet.
3. The status LED will glow amber while charging and turn green when fully charged.
4. A full charge typically takes about 3 hours and provides up to 8 hours of playback.
5. Voice prompts will announce battery level when powering on or when battery is low.

CAUTION! Do not attempt to replace the built-in battery. Contact Bose service for battery issues.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug charging cable before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquids, aerosols, or abrasive cleaners.
