Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Place Media Center in entertainment center.

  1. Connect speakers: Use color-coded cables to connect each cube speaker to Media Center.
  2. Connect bass module: Use provided cable to connect to Media Center.
  3. Connect TV: Use component or composite video cable from Media Center to TV.
  4. Connect external sources: Connect cable/satellite box, game console, etc., to Media Center inputs.
  5. Plug into AC power.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation around Media Center. Do not block vents.

First-Time Setup

Power on system; follow on-screen prompts.

Audio: Bass, Treble, Balance, Night Mode (compresses dynamic range). Video: Output resolution (480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i), aspect ratio. System: Clock, remote programming, factory reset. Source Setup: Name inputs, configure audio type (Stereo, Surround).

Connecting Devices

TV: Component or composite video. External audio/video: Use A/V inputs. Digital audio: Optical or coaxial.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting.
  2. Use high-quality cables for best performance.
  3. Select input via remote INPUT button or front panel.

Tip: Label cables for easy identification during setup.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, audio CDs.

  1. Insert disc: Press EJECT, load disc label-side up.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use navigation for titles/chapters.
  3. Stop: Press STOP; system remembers stop point (resume).
  4. Skip: PREV/NEXT for chapters/tracks.
  5. Repeat: REPEAT button for track/title/all repeat.
  6. Random play: SHUFFLE for random track order.
  7. Audio options: Use AUDIO button for multi-language or commentary.
  8. Subtitle: SUBTITLE button to toggle subtitles.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs. Keep discs clean.

Audio Calibration

ADAPTiQ system: Automatically adjusts speaker levels and EQ for room acoustics. Re-run calibration if furniture changes or speakers are moved.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe Media Center and speakers with dry, soft cloth. Clean disc lens with approved CD/DVD lens cleaner only.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Avoid magnetic fields near speakers.
