Installation

  1. Position Media Center: Place near TV and other source components with adequate ventilation.
  2. Place Acoustimass Module: Position along a wall, not in a corner, for optimal bass response.
  3. Mount Satellite Speakers: Front left/right beside TV, center above/below TV, surrounds behind listening area.
  4. Connect Speakers: Use color-coded cables to connect each cube to corresponding Media Center terminal.
  5. Connect Power: Plug Media Center and Acoustimass module into AC outlets.

First-Time Setup

Connecting Devices

Video Sources: Connect to VIDEO 1 or VIDEO 2 inputs (composite or S-Video). Audio Sources: Connect to AUX input. Antenna: Connect AM loop and FM wire to designated terminals.

  1. Turn off all components before connecting.
  2. Use appropriate cables (RCA for audio/video, S-Video for better picture quality).
  3. Select source using remote INPUT SELECT (VIDEO 1, VIDEO 2, AUX, etc.).

Tip: For best video quality, use S-Video connection when available.

Playing Media

Supports Audio CDs, AM/FM radio, and external audio/video sources.

  1. Play CD: Insert disc, press PLAY; use SKIP for tracks.
  2. Listen to Radio: Press TUNER, select AM/FM, tune manually or use presets.
  3. External Source: Select correct INPUT (VIDEO 1/2, AUX), play from connected device.
