Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Choose optimal placement for speakers and Media Center.

First-Time Setup

Audio: Adjust bass, treble, center channel level, surround level, dialogue enhancement. Video: Select output resolution (480p, 720p, 1080i), aspect ratio. System: Language, clock, input setup, ADAPTiQ recalibration, factory reset. Parental: Set DVD and TV ratings lock (default code may be 0000 or 1111).

Connecting Devices

TV: HDMI or component/composite video. Sources: Cable/satellite, Blu-ray player, game console, music player.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting.
  2. Use highest quality cables available (HDMI recommended).
  3. Connect source audio/video to Media Center inputs.
  4. Connect Media Center output to TV.
  5. Select source via remote INPUT or SOURCE button.

Tip: Label cables for easy identification. Ensure HDMI cables are certified for high-speed data.

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, audio CDs.

  1. Insert disc: Press EJECT, load media label-side up.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use navigation for titles/chapters/tracks.
  3. Stop: Press STOP; system remembers stop point for resume.
  4. Skip: PREV/NEXT for chapters/tracks.
  5. Repeat: REPEAT button for track/chapter/all.
  6. Search: Use FF/REW for scan.
  7. Audio options: Select audio language or commentary via AUDIO button.

Audio Calibration
