Setup and Installation

Simple plug-and-play setup for immediate use.

  1. Place the SoundDock on a stable, flat surface.
  2. Connect the power adapter to the DC input on the back of the SoundDock, then plug into a wall outlet.
  3. Select the appropriate docking insert for your iPod model and place it in the dock.
  4. Insert your iPod into the dock connector firmly until it clicks into place.
  5. Power on the SoundDock using the remote or the power button on the unit.

CAUTION! Ensure the power adapter is securely connected. Do not force the iPod into the dock.

Connecting Your iPod

Ensure compatibility and proper docking.

  1. Power off the SoundDock before docking or undocking your iPod.
  2. Align your iPod with the dock connector and press down gently until seated.
  3. Power on the SoundDock; the LED should turn amber indicating charging.
  4. Use the remote or iPod controls to play music.
  5. To undock, power off the SoundDock, then lift the iPod straight up.

Tip: Always use the correct docking insert for your iPod model to ensure proper connection and charging.

Using the Remote Control

Control playback and volume from a distance.

  1. Point the remote directly at the front of the SoundDock (within 20 feet).
  2. POWER: Turns the SoundDock on/off.
  3. VOLUME UP/DOWN: Adjusts audio level.
  4. PLAY/PAUSE: Starts or pauses playback.
  5. PREVIOUS/NEXT TRACK: Skips to previous or next song.
  6. MUTE: Temporarily mutes audio (press again to unmute).

NOTE: Replace remote battery (CR2025) when range decreases or buttons become unresponsive.

Auxiliary Input

Connect other audio sources to enjoy music from non-iPod devices.

  1. Locate the 3.5mm AUX IN jack on the back of the SoundDock.
  2. Connect one end of the auxiliary cable to the AUX IN jack.
  3. Connect the other end to the headphone jack of your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet).
  4. Power on the SoundDock and select playback on your external device.
  5. Use the SoundDock remote to control volume only; playback controls remain on the external device.

WARNING! Ensure the external device volume is set to a moderate level before connecting to avoid sudden loud sounds.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug the power adapter before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquids, solvents, or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Keep the SoundDock away from heat sources, moisture, and direct sunlight. Do not attempt to open or repair the unit yourself.
