Specifications

Controls and Connections

Headphone Controls: Power switch (ANC on/off) on right ear cup. In-line Remote: Volume up/down, multi-function button (play/pause, answer/end call, track skip).

Connections: Left ear cup: Audio input jack for detachable cable. Right ear cup: Battery compartment.

LED Indicator: Green = ANC powered on; flashing green = low battery; off = ANC off or no battery.

Using Noise Cancellation

ANC reduces constant low-frequency noise (e.g., airplane cabin, train, office hum).

  1. Slide power switch to ON (right ear cup). Green LED lights.
  2. For best effect, wear headphones before turning on ANC in noisy environment.
  3. Audio can be played with ANC on or off; ANC works without audio signal.
  4. To conserve battery, turn ANC off when not needed.
  5. Low battery warning: LED flashes green; replace AAA battery soon.

Tip: ANC is most effective against consistent droning sounds, not sudden loud noises.

Audio Playback & Calls

Works with most audio devices having 3.5mm output.

  1. Playback: Connect to device, play audio as normal. Use in-line remote to control volume and track.
  2. Calls (compatible devices): Multi-function button answers/ends calls; built-in mic enables hands-free talk.
  3. Volume: Adjust via device or in-line remote buttons.
  4. For airline use: Use included two-prong adapter with airplane armrest jack.
  5. No audio? Check device volume, cable connections, and that ANC is on (if desired).

WARNING! Do not use at high volume for extended periods to prevent hearing damage.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug cable before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth only; avoid liquids.

Storage: Fold headphones and store in carrying case when not in use.

Battery: Remove if not using for extended periods to prevent leakage.

Ear Cushions: Replaceable; contact Bose for replacement parts if worn or damaged.

CAUTION! Do not expose to extreme heat, moisture, or direct sunlight.
