Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place on stable, level surface.

  1. Select appropriate dock adapter for your device from the included set.
  2. Insert adapter into the universal dock until it clicks into place.
  3. Connect the AC power adapter to the docking station and plug into wall outlet.
  4. For auxiliary devices: Connect 3.5mm audio cable from source to AUX IN port.

WARNING! Use only the provided Bose power adapter. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.

First-Time Use

Power on the docking station; follow these steps for initial setup.

  1. Dock your device: Align connector and gently press device into dock adapter.
  2. Power on: Press POWER button on unit or remote. Status LED should illuminate.
  3. Select source: Press SOURCE button to choose between docked device or auxiliary input.
  4. Adjust volume: Use VOLUME buttons to set comfortable listening level.

CAUTION! Do not force device into dock. Ensure connector alignment is correct.

Connecting Devices

  3. For auxiliary devices: Connect 3.5mm cable from device's headphone/line output to AUX IN.
  4. Power on docking station and select appropriate source.

Tip: For best audio quality, ensure auxiliary source volume is set to approximately 75%.

Playing Audio

Supports audio playback from docked Apple devices and auxiliary sources.

  1. Dock your Apple device or connect auxiliary source.
  2. Press POWER to turn on system.
  3. Select source using SOURCE button (dock or AUX).
  4. Control playback using remote: PLAY/PAUSE, PREVIOUS/NEXT TRACK.
  5. Adjust volume using VOLUME buttons on remote or unit.
  6. To mute audio temporarily, press MUTE button on remote.
  7. Charging: Docked compatible devices charge automatically when system is powered.

WARNING! Do not remove device while it is actively charging or playing audio.
