Installation & Setup

Unpack and inspect all contents. Place speakers on a stable, level surface.

  1. Position speakers: Place one speaker on each side of your monitor, angled slightly toward your listening position.
  2. Connect speakers: Plug the cable from the right speaker into the back of the left (primary) speaker.
  3. Connect to computer: Plug the 3.5mm audio input cable into your computer's headphone/line-out jack.
  4. Connect power: Plug the power adapter into the left speaker and then into a wall outlet.
  5. Place control pod: Position the volume control pod within easy reach on your desk.

NOTE: For best sound quality, keep speakers at least 1 foot (30 cm) from walls and large metal objects.

First-Time Use

Power on the system and adjust settings for optimal listening.

  1. Turn on: The system powers on automatically when connected to AC power. The power indicator on the control pod will light.
  2. Adjust volume: Turn the knob on the control pod to set your desired listening level.
  3. Test sound: Play audio from your computer to verify both speakers are working.
  4. Connect headphones (optional): Plug headphones into the jack on the control pod. Speakers will mute automatically.

TIP: Start with a low volume and increase gradually to avoid sudden loud sounds.

Primary control is via the desktop volume control pod.

Control Pod: Volume knob (rotate to adjust level, press to mute/unmute).

Rear of Left Speaker: Power input, audio input from computer, connector for right speaker.

Front of Control Pod: Headphone jack, auxiliary input jack.

Connecting Audio Sources

Connect additional devices to the auxiliary input on the control pod.

  1. Ensure the speaker system is powered on.
  2. Locate the auxiliary input jack on the front of the control pod.
  3. Use a standard 3.5mm audio cable to connect your device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the auxiliary input.
  4. Audio from the auxiliary source will play through the speakers. The computer audio will be overridden when the auxiliary cable is connected.

Note: The volume control pod adjusts the master volume for both computer and auxiliary inputs.

Operation & Listening

Daily use and tips for optimal performance.

  1. Volume Adjustment: Rotate the knob on the control pod clockwise to increase volume, counterclockwise to decrease.
  2. Mute: Press the volume knob once to mute the sound. Press again to unmute.
  3. Headphone Use: Plugging headphones into the control pod automatically mutes the speakers and routes audio to the headphones.
  4. Switching Sources: Audio from the auxiliary input takes priority. Unplug the auxiliary cable to resume listening from your computer.
  5. Power Saving: The system uses minimal standby power. Unplug the power adapter to turn the system completely off.

For Best Sound: Position speakers at ear level and ensure nothing is blocking the speaker grilles.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug the power adapter before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the speakers and control pod. Do not use liquids, sprays, or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not open the speakers. There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified personnel.

Troubleshooting
