WARNING! Ensure all connections are secure before powering on. Do not place Acoustimass module in enclosed spaces.

First-Time Configuration

Power on the system using the control pod; verify audio playback.

  1. Power On: Rotate volume knob on control pod clockwise to turn system on.
  2. Select Input: Ensure control pod is set to correct input (USB or Analog).
  3. Test Audio: Play audio from your computer to verify all speakers are working.

Primary control is through the Control Pod. Satellite speakers and Acoustimass module have no user controls.

Control Pod: Volume Knob (rotate to adjust volume, press to mute/unmute), Power Indicator LED, Headphone Jack, Input Selection (if multiple inputs).

Volume: Rotate knob clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease. Press knob to mute (LED may flash). Press again to unmute. Headphone Use: Plugging in headphones automatically routes audio to headphones and mutes speakers. Unplug to restore speaker audio. Input Selection: If system has multiple inputs, use button or knob press sequence to cycle between USB and Auxiliary input.

Connecting Devices

Computer (Primary): USB connection for digital audio or 3.5mm analog connection. Auxiliary Devices: Smartphone, tablet, or MP3 player via 3.5mm cable to Aux input.

  1. Turn off or lower volume on speaker system and source device before connecting.
  2. For USB: Connect USB cable from control pod to computer USB port. Computer should recognize it as an audio device.
  3. For Analog: Connect 3.5mm cable from control pod 'Aux In' to computer's headphone/line-out jack.
  4. For Auxiliary Device: Connect device to 'Aux In' using 3.5mm cable.
  5. Select correct input on control pod (if applicable).

Tip: For best audio quality with computers, use the USB connection if available.

Using the Control Pod

The control pod is the central hub for all operations.

  1. Power On/Off: Rotate volume knob from minimum (click) position to turn on. Rotate back to click to turn off.
  2. Volume Adjustment: Rotate knob during playback.
  3. Instant Mute: Press the volume knob once. Press again or rotate knob to unmute.
  4. Headphone Listening: Plug headphones into front jack. Audio automatically switches.
  5. Input Switching (if supported): Press and hold mute button or use a specific knob press pattern to switch between USB and Aux.

WARNING! Do not expose control pod to liquids. Avoid pulling on cables connected to the pod.

Audio Settings & Modes

TrueSpace Processing: Always active to widen stereo image. Bass Level: Adjusted via computer's sound settings or equalizer software when using USB/analog connection. No physical bass control on unit.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe exterior surfaces. Do not use liquids or cleaners on speakers or control pod.

CAUTION! Do not open any part of the system. Keep speakers away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Ventilation around Acoustimass module should not be blocked.
