Initial Setup & Charging

Prepare your speaker for first use.

  1. Charge the speaker: Connect the USB-C cable to the speaker and a power source (computer or wall adapter).

Bluetooth Pairing

Connect to Bluetooth-enabled devices.

  2. Enter pairing mode: Press and hold Bluetooth button until LED blinks blue.
  3. On your device, enable Bluetooth and select "Bose Colour Speaker".
  4. Confirm connection when LED turns solid blue.

Tip: The speaker can remember up to 8 devices. To switch between paired devices, use the Bose Connect app or press Bluetooth button to cycle.

Using the Bose Connect App

Enhance your experience with the Bose Connect app (available for iOS and Android).

  1. Download and install the Bose Connect app from your device's app store.
  2. Open the app and follow on-screen instructions to connect your speaker.
  3. Features include: Manage Bluetooth connections, Adjust volume, Update firmware, Set voice prompt language, Enable/disable auto-off timer, Party Mode (pair two Bose speakers for stereo), Stereo Mode (pair two for left/right channels).

Voice Assistant & Calls

Use voice commands and make hands-free calls.

Voice Assistant: Press and hold the Multi-function button to activate your device's default voice assistant (Siri or Google Assistant). Speak your command after the tone.

Hands-Free Calls: When a call comes in, press Multi-function button to answer. Press again to end call. Press Volume Up/Down to adjust call volume. To reject a call, press and hold Multi-function button.

Mute Microphone: During a call, simultaneously press Volume Up and Down buttons to mute/unmute.

Care & Maintenance

Keep your speaker in optimal condition.

  1. Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth with water only.
  2. Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
  3. Battery: For long-term storage, charge battery to 50% and power off.
