Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place components in desired locations.

  1. Position Acoustimass module: Place on floor near TV, not in enclosed cabinet.
  2. Position cube speakers: Place on either side of TV or mount on wall using included brackets.
  3. Connect cube speakers: Use provided cables to connect from Acoustimass module to each cube speaker.
  4. Connect audio source: Use optical, coaxial, or analog cable from TV/device to input panel.
  5. Plug into AC power.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents on Acoustimass module. Use included cables only.

First-Time Setup

Power on system; follow initial configuration.

  1. Power connection: Plug Acoustimass module into wall outlet; status LED will blink.
  2. Remote setup: Program universal remote for your TV (see remote manual).
  3. Input selection: Press INPUT on remote to cycle through optical, coaxial, analog.
  4. Volume adjustment: Set initial volume to mid-level using remote or module button.

Connecting Devices

TV: Use optical or coaxial digital output for best audio. Other devices: Use analog stereo output.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting.
  2. Connect digital cable: Optical or coaxial from TV to corresponding input on module.
  3. Connect analog cable: RCA stereo cables from device to analog input on module.
  4. Select input: Use INPUT button on remote or module to match connected source.

Tip: For 5.1 surround sound from external player, ensure player is set to output PCM stereo.

Using the Remote Control

  1. Power: Press POWER to turn system on/off; may also control TV if programmed.
  2. Volume: VOLUME +/- adjusts system volume; MUTE toggles sound off/on.
  3. Input selection: Press INPUT to cycle through optical, coaxial, analog.

  5. Setup: Hold SETUP to enter programming mode for remote.

WARNING! Replace remote batteries when weak; use AAA batteries. Point remote at system IR sensor.

Audio Settings & Modes

Dialogue Enhancement: Automatically active; clarifies speech in movies/TV. Night Mode: Press and hold MUTE for 3 seconds to enable/disable; compresses audio dynamic range for late-night viewing. Bass Adjustment: Use BASS +/- buttons on module to increase/decrease low frequencies.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Wipe surfaces with dry, soft cloth. For stubborn marks, dampen cloth with water only; do not use chemicals.

CAUTION! Do not allow liquids into vents or openings. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
