Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Place bass module and speakers in desired locations.

  1. Position bass module: Place near TV or in a corner for optimal bass response.
  2. Place cube speakers: Mount on wall or place on stands near TV, at ear level when seated.
  3. Connect speakers: Use provided wire to connect cube speakers to bass module terminals.
  4. Connect to TV: Use optical cable (preferred) or analog audio cable from TV output to system input.
  5. Plug into AC power.

WARNING! Bass module is heavy; lift with care. Ensure all connections are secure and wires are not pinched.

First-Time Setup

Power on system; follow audio prompts if available.

  1. Power connection: Plug bass module into AC outlet; indicator light will illuminate.
  2. Speaker connection: Ensure positive/negative terminals match on bass module and cube speakers.
  3. TV connection: Connect audio cable from TV's audio output to system's input.
  4. Remote setup: Program universal remote to control your TV (see remote manual).
  5. Adjust bass: Use remote or control on bass module to set desired bass level.

CAUTION! Do not place bass module in enclosed cabinet; allow ventilation. Keep speakers away from heat sources.

Access controls via remote or buttons on bass module. Bass Module: Power button, Bass control knob, Status light. Remote: POWER, VOLUME UP/DOWN, MUTE, INPUT SELECT, BASS +/-.

Remote Functions: POWER (system on/standby), Numeric buttons (for TV channel control if programmed), VOLUME, MUTE, INPUT (switch between optical/analog), BASS adjustment.

Audio: Bass level adjustable via remote or knob. Input Selection: Auto-sensing or manual via remote. Auto-Standby: System enters low-power mode after no audio signal detected.

Connecting Devices

TV: Optical or analog audio output. Other Sources: DVD/Blu-ray player, game console, streaming device via TV or directly to system.

  1. Turn off system and devices before connecting.
  2. For best quality, use optical digital connection from TV to system.
  3. If using analog, connect TV's audio output (RCA) to system's analog input.
  4. Select correct input on system using remote (optical or analog).

Tip: Ensure TV audio output is set to PCM or stereo for proper compatibility.

Using the Remote

Controls Bose system and basic TV functions.

  1. System Power: Press POWER to turn system on/standby.
  2. Volume Control: Use VOL +/- to adjust level; press MUTE to silence.
  3. Input Select: Press INPUT to switch between optical and analog sources.
  4. Bass Adjustment: Press BASS +/- to increase/decrease low-frequency output.
  5. TV Control: If programmed, use number keys, CH +/- for channel control.

WARNING! Keep remote away from moisture. Replace batteries when performance decreases.

Audio Settings

Care & Cleaning

Unplug system before cleaning. Use dry, soft cloth for bass module and speakers. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not spray cleaners directly on speakers. Keep cube speaker grilles clean with gentle vacuum brush attachment if needed.
