Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place components in desired locations.

  1. Position cube speakers: Place left/right speakers near TV, at ear level when seated.
  2. Place Acoustimass module: Hide module out of sight (under furniture, in corner).
  3. Connect speakers: Use provided cables to connect cube speakers to Acoustimass module.
  4. Connect to TV: Use optical digital cable or analog audio cable from TV to system.
  5. Plug into AC power.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents on Acoustimass module.

First-Time Setup

Power on system; follow initial audio setup.

  1. Power connection: Plug power cord into outlet and Acoustimass module.
  2. Input selection: Press INPUT on remote to select correct audio source (OPTICAL or ANALOG).
  3. Volume adjustment: Set initial volume to medium level using remote.
  4. Remote setup: Program universal remote to control TV (see remote manual).
  5. Test audio: Play TV content to verify sound from both cube speakers and bass.

CAUTION! Keep speakers away from heat sources and moisture.

Primary controls via remote control. Acoustimass module has status light and connection ports.

Remote: POWER, INPUT (selects audio source), VOLUME UP/DOWN, MUTE, BASS +/-.

Audio Settings: Dialogue enhancement (improves speech clarity), Bass level adjustment, Input selection (OPTICAL/ANALOG). System Status: Light indicates power (green) and input selection (amber for analog, white for optical).

Connecting Devices

TV Connection: Optical digital (recommended) or analog audio output. Other Sources: DVD/Blu-ray players, gaming consoles via TV or direct connection.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting.
  2. Connect TV audio output to system input using appropriate cable.
  3. For optical connection: Remove protective caps, insert firmly into ports.
  4. Select corresponding input on system using remote.

Tip: Use optical connection for best audio quality from digital sources.

Using the Remote Control

Controls system functions and can be programmed for TV control.

  1. System power: Press POWER to turn system on/off.
  2. Volume control: Use VOLUME buttons to adjust level; press MUTE to silence.
  3. Input selection: Press INPUT to cycle between OPTICAL and ANALOG inputs.
  4. Bass adjustment: Press BASS + or - to increase/decrease low frequencies.
  5. TV control: Program remote to control TV power, volume, and input (see programming guide).
  6. Battery replacement: Open battery compartment, install two AAA batteries.

WARNING! Do not mix old and new batteries. Dispose of batteries properly.

Audio Settings

Dialogue Enhancement: Automatically emphasizes vocal frequencies for clearer speech. Bass Level: Adjust to preference using remote (default is center position). Input Priority: System defaults to optical input if both optical and analog are connected.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug system before cleaning. Wipe cube speakers and Acoustimass module with dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquids or chemical cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not open any components; no user-serviceable parts inside.
