Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Place soundbar below or above your TV.

  1. Position the Soundbar: Place directly below your TV, centered, on a shelf or mounted on the wall.
  2. Position the Acoustimass Module: Place near a wall or in a corner of the room for optimal bass response.
  3. Connect to Power: Plug the soundbar and the Acoustimass module into AC power outlets.
  4. Connect to TV: Use the included optical cable (recommended) from your TV's optical audio output to the soundbar's OPTICAL input.

WARNING! Ensure the Acoustimass module is at least 1 foot (30 cm) from walls for proper ventilation. Do not block vents.

First-Time Setup

Power on the system; the soundbar and module will automatically pair.

  1. Power On: Press POWER on the remote or soundbar. The status light will illuminate.
  2. Pairing: The wireless module should pair automatically. A solid white light indicates successful pairing.
  3. Select Input: Press INPUT on the remote to select the correct source (e.g., OPT for optical connection).
  4. Adjust Volume: Use the remote or buttons on the soundbar to set initial volume.
  5. Configure Remote: Program the universal remote to control your TV (see remote manual).

CAUTION! Do not place the soundbar inside an enclosed cabinet, as this will muffle sound.

Controls and Settings

Access basic controls via the remote or buttons on the top of the soundbar.

Soundbar Buttons: POWER, INPUT, VOLUME UP, VOLUME DOWN, MUTE.

Remote: POWER, Numeric buttons (for device control), INPUT, VOLUME, MUTE, DIALOGUE (mode), BASS (control), SETUP (for programming).

Sound Modes: DIALOGUE mode enhances speech clarity. Bass Control: Adjusts the level of the wireless subwoofer. Input Selection: Cycle between OPT, COAX, and AUX inputs.

Connecting Devices

TV (Optimal): Use optical digital cable. Other Sources: Use coaxial digital or analog stereo cable.

  1. Turn off all devices before making connections.
  2. Connect the audio output from your source (TV, Blu-ray player, game console) to the desired input on the soundbar.
  3. Select the corresponding input on the soundbar using the INPUT button.
  4. Set your TV or source device to output audio to the external speaker system.

Tip: For best audio quality, use the optical digital connection. Ensure the protective caps are removed from the optical cable ends.

Using the Remote Control

The universal remote can control the soundbar, your TV, and other devices.

  1. Soundbar Control: Basic functions (power, volume, input, mute) work immediately.
  2. Program for TV: Press and hold TV then SETUP until the remote light blinks. Enter your TV's code (see code list in manual).
  3. Volume Control: The remote can be set to always control the soundbar's volume, regardless of the selected device.
  4. Mute: Press MUTE to silence audio; press again or adjust volume to unmute.
  5. Input Select: Press INPUT to cycle through OPT, COAX, and AUX.

WARNING! Keep remote away from moisture and extreme heat. Replace batteries when performance weakens.

Sound Modes & Adjustments

Dialogue Mode: Press DIALOGUE button to enhance vocal frequencies for clearer speech. Bass Control: Press BASS button, then use volume up/down to adjust subwoofer level to your preference.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug from power before cleaning. Wipe the soundbar and module with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquids, sprays, or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not allow liquids to enter any openings. Do not open the casing; no user-serviceable parts inside.
