Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Choose optimal placement for speakers and Acoustimass module.

  1. Position Acoustimass module: Place near TV or entertainment center, not in enclosed cabinet.
  2. Position cube speakers: Place on either side of TV, at ear level when seated.
  3. Connect speakers: Use included color-coded cables to connect cubes to Acoustimass module.
  4. Connect audio source: Use optical, coaxial, or analog cable from TV/device to Acoustimass module.
  5. Connect power: Plug Acoustimass module into AC outlet.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation around Acoustimass module. Do not block vents.

First-Time Setup

Power on system; follow initial configuration steps.

  1. Power connection: Plug in Acoustimass module; indicator light should illuminate.

  1. Turn off all devices before making connections.
  2. Use high-quality digital optical cable for best audio quality.
  3. Ensure TV audio output is set to PCM or Bitstream (not Dolby Digital if using optical).
  4. Select corresponding input on Cinemate 11 using remote INPUT button.

Tip: For older TVs without digital outputs, use analog RCA cables from TV audio outputs to AUX input.

Using the Remote Control

Universal remote controls Cinemate 11 and TV basic functions.

  1. Power control: POWER button turns Cinemate 11 on/off; may control TV if programmed.
  2. Volume control: VOLUME buttons control Cinemate 11 master volume.
