Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Choose placement near TV.

  1. Position soundbar: Place below or above TV, centered. Use wall-mount brackets if desired.
  2. Place wireless module: Position within 10m (30ft) of soundbar, away from corners for optimal bass.
  3. Connect to TV: Use HDMI ARC (preferred) or optical cable from TV audio output to soundbar.
  4. Connect power: Plug soundbar and wireless module into AC outlets.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation; do not block vents. Keep away from heat sources.

First-Time Setup

Power on soundbar and wireless module; follow pairing procedure.

  1. Automatic pairing: Wireless module should pair automatically when powered. LED solid white indicates success.
  2. Select input: Press INPUT on remote to cycle through HDMI, OPTICAL, BLUETOOTH.
  3. TV setup: Enable HDMI-CEC/ARC on TV settings for single remote control.

Connecting Devices

TV: HDMI ARC or optical. Other devices: Bluetooth or optical.

  1. Turn off all devices before connecting cables.
  2. HDMI ARC: Connect HDMI cable from TV ARC port to soundbar HDMI ARC port.
  3. Optical: Remove caps, connect optical cable from TV to soundbar OPTICAL input.
  4. Select corresponding input on soundbar (HDMI or OPTICAL).

Tip: Use high-speed HDMI cable for best performance. Ensure TV audio output is set to PCM or Bitstream.

Bluetooth & Network Features

Stream audio wirelessly from smartphones, tablets, or computers.

  1. Pairing: Press Bluetooth button on remote until Bluetooth LED flashes blue.
  2. On device, enable Bluetooth and select "Bose Cinemate 1 SR".
  3. Play audio from your device; control volume with soundbar remote.
  4. Bose SimpleSync: Pair with compatible Bose headphones for private listening.
  5. Bose Music app: Download for firmware updates, sound settings, and multi-room setup (if compatible).

WARNING! Keep Bluetooth devices within 10m range. Interference may occur near other wireless devices.
