Initial Setup & Charging

Before first use, fully charge the speaker.

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the speaker's USB port.
  2. Plug the AC adapter into a standard wall outlet (100-240V, 50/60Hz).
  3. Charge until the battery indicator shows full (typically 3 hours).
  4. Power on the speaker by pressing and holding the Power button.
  5. Listen for the voice prompt indicating power on and battery level.

Bluetooth Pairing

Pair with your Bluetooth device for wireless audio streaming.

  1. Turn on the speaker; listen for "Ready to connect" or see flashing Bluetooth LED.
  2. On your smartphone/tablet/computer, enable Bluetooth in settings.
  3. Select "Bose SoundLink" from the list of available devices.
  4. If prompted, enter PIN '0000' (four zeros) or confirm pairing.
  5. Listen for "Connected to [device name]" voice confirmation.
  6. For multi-point: To pair a second device, put first device in standby and repeat steps.

Tip: Ensure the speaker is within 30 feet and no obstructions block the signal.

Playing Audio

Once paired, audio from your device streams to the speaker.

  1. Play audio on your Bluetooth device (music, podcast, etc.).
  2. Control playback using the speaker's multi-function button:
    • Press once to play/pause.
    • Press twice quickly to skip to next track.
    • Press three times quickly to go back to previous track.
  3. Adjust volume using Volume Up/Down buttons on speaker or device.
  4. To switch between paired devices, pause audio on first device, play on second.
  5. To disconnect, turn off Bluetooth on your device or power off speaker.

WARNING! Do not expose speaker to liquids. Avoid high volume levels for extended periods to prevent hearing damage.

Using the Auxiliary Input

For devices without Bluetooth, use the auxiliary input.

  1. Connect one end of the auxiliary cable to the speaker's AUX IN jack.
  2. Connect the other end to the headphone jack of your audio source.
  3. The speaker will automatically switch to auxiliary input when cable is connected.
  4. Play audio on your source device; control volume from speaker or source.
  5. To return to Bluetooth, disconnect the auxiliary cable.

Note: Ensure cable is fully inserted for best audio quality.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug and power off before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth; do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.

Battery Care: For longest battery life, avoid complete discharges; recharge when battery indicator shows low. If not using for extended periods, store with 50% charge in a cool, dry place.

CAUTION! Do not expose to water, extreme heat, or direct sunlight for prolonged periods. Do not attempt to disassemble or replace battery.
