Installation

  1. Position Acoustimass Module: Place near front wall, not in corners, for balanced bass.
  2. Place Cube Speakers: Front L/R: beside or slightly behind TV; Center: above/below TV; Surround L/R: beside or behind listening area.
  3. Connect to Control Console: Use provided cables; match colors (Red to +, Black to -).
  4. Connect Console to Receiver: Use speaker wire from console outputs to receiver's speaker terminals.
  5. Plug module into AC power.

WARNING! Ensure all connections are secure and polarity is correct. Do not place module in enclosed cabinets.

First-Time Setup

System Calibration

For optimal performance, calibrate using your receiver's features.

  1. Access receiver setup menu: Navigate to speaker configuration.
  2. Set all speakers to "Small": This routes bass to Acoustimass module.
  3. Set crossover frequency: 80 Hz recommended; adjust based on room.
  4. Run auto-calibration if available: Use included microphone (if supported by receiver).
  5. Manual calibration: Use test tones and SPL meter to balance channel levels (75 dB reference).
  6. Set speaker distances: Input distance from listening position to each speaker.

WARNING! Do not set cube speakers to "Large" in receiver settings. Avoid extreme bass levels that may cause distortion.

Care & Maintenance
