Placement Guidelines

Proper placement is critical for optimal sound performance.

  1. Cube Speakers: Place at ear level when seated. For front left/right channels, position to the sides of your TV/screen, angled slightly inward. For surround channels, place beside or behind listening area.
  2. Acoustimass Module: Place on floor near a wall or in a corner (not in an enclosed cabinet). Ensure at least 6 inches of clearance from walls and other objects.
  3. General Tips: Avoid placing cube speakers directly against walls. Keep away from heat sources and moisture.

CAUTION! The Acoustimass module is heavy; lift with care using two people if necessary.

Operation & Calibration

After connection, calibrate system using your AV receiver's setup menu.

Receiver Settings: Set all speakers to "Small." Set crossover to 100-120 Hz. Ensure subwoofer output is enabled. Manual Calibration: Use an SPL meter to match volume levels of all channels. Bass Adjustment: Use the control on the Acoustimass module (if equipped) to match room acoustics.

Connecting to AV Receiver

Standard connection using RCA cables.

  1. Turn off and unplug your AV receiver.
  2. Connect the RCA cables from the "From Receiver" jacks on the Acoustimass module to the front left/right preamp outputs on your receiver.
  3. Connect the cube speaker wires to the corresponding terminals on the Acoustimass module (Front L/R, Surround L/R).
  4. Power on receiver and test sound.

Tip: Ensure all connections are secure and wires are not pinched.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug system before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe cube speakers and module. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.
