Installation & Placement

Proper placement is critical for optimal sound performance.

  1. Place Acoustimass module: Along a wall, near receiver, but not in enclosed cabinet. Use rubber feet.
  2. Place cube speakers: Front left/right beside or slightly behind TV; center channel above/below TV; surround left/right beside or behind listening area.
  3. Maintain clearance: Keep at least 1 inch from walls for cubes; 2-3 inches for module.
  4. Avoid heat sources: Keep away from radiators, heaters.

CAUTION! Do not place module in enclosed space; ensure adequate ventilation.

Connecting to Your Receiver

Ensure receiver and system are powered OFF before connecting.

  1. Connect cubes to receiver: Match colors (gray to front L/R, purple to center, green to surround L/R).
  2. Connect Acoustimass module: Use RCA cable from receiver's SUBWOOFER or LFE output to module's LINE IN.

Module Controls: Phase switch (0° or 180°); Crossover bypass switch (use if receiver handles crossover). Volume control on module: Start at midpoint, adjust via receiver.

Operation Guidelines

  1. Power on: Module first, then receiver.
  2. Volume: Adjust via receiver remote; fine-tune with module knob if needed.
