Installation & Placement

Unpack all components carefully. Choose a stable, well-ventilated location.

  1. Place Media Center: On shelf or cabinet near TV, with clear front for remote sensor.
  2. Position Speakers: Place two satellite speakers on either side of TV, at ear level when seated.
  3. Place Acoustimass Module: Can be hidden (under furniture, in corner) but not enclosed.
  4. Connect speaker wires: Match colored connectors to correct terminals on Media Center and speakers.
  5. Connect to TV: Use included audio/video cables from Media Center VIDEO OUT to TV input.
  6. Plug into AC power.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation around Media Center. Do not place speakers or module in enclosed spaces.

First-Time Setup

Power on system; follow on-screen prompts if connected to a TV.

  1. Initial Power: Press POWER on remote or Media Center. System enters standby (amber light).

Connecting Source Devices

  2. Identify available inputs on Media Center rear panel (AUX VIDEO/AUDIO, OPTICAL IN).
  3. Use appropriate cables (composite, optical) from device output to system input.

Playing Media & Using the Tuner
