Installation

Unpack and inspect all components. Place media center in a well-ventilated area.

  1. Connect speakers: Attach cube speakers to media center speaker terminals (left/right).
  2. Connect Acoustimass module: Use provided cable to connect to media center subwoofer output.
  3. Connect TV: Use composite video cable (yellow) and stereo audio cables (red/white) from media center to TV.
  4. Connect antenna: Attach AM loop and FM wire antennas to respective terminals.
  5. Plug into AC power.

WARNING! Ensure proper ventilation around media center. Do not block vents.

First-Time Setup

Power on system; follow on-screen prompts if connected to TV.

  1. Set clock: Press SETUP, navigate to Clock Settings, set time.
  2. Tune radio: Press AM/FM, use TUNE to find stations, press MEMORY to save presets.
  3. Configure audio: Use remote SOUND button to select Movie, Music, or Night mode.
  4. Configure DVD settings: Press SETUP for TV type, aspect ratio, parental controls.

Access OSD via SETUP button on remote. Front Panel: POWER, EJECT, VOLUME knob, INPUT selector.

Remote: POWER, Numeric buttons, EJECT, INPUT, VOLUME, MUTE, SETUP, SOUND (Movie/Music/Night), AM/FM, PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, SKIP, etc.

Setup Menu: Clock Settings, TV Type (4:3, 16:9), Screen Saver, Parental Controls (password default: 0000). Sound Settings: Mode (Movie, Music, Night), Bass, Treble, Speaker Setup (large/small). Tuner: Auto-scan, manual tune, preset memory.

Connecting Devices

TV: Composite video + stereo audio. External Audio: Coaxial digital input for digital audio sources.

  1. Turn off system and devices before connecting.
  2. Match cables to ports (composite video = yellow, audio left = white, audio right = red).
  3. Select input via INPUT button (DVD, AUX, etc.).

Tip: For best video quality, use S-Video or component video if your TV supports it (cables not included).

Playing Media

Supports DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, CD, MP3 CD.

  1. Insert disc: Press EJECT, load disc label-side up.
  2. Play: Press PLAY; use SKIP or numeric buttons to select title/track.
  3. Stop: Press STOP; eject with EJECT.
  4. Pause: Press PLAY/PAUSE.
  5. Scan: Hold SKIP forward/backward during play.
  6. Repeat: Press REPEAT to repeat track, title, or all.
  7. Sound Mode: Press SOUND to cycle through Movie, Music, Night.
  8. MP3 CD Navigation: Use arrow buttons to browse folders/tracks.

WARNING! Do not use damaged or irregularly shaped discs. Keep discs clean.

Radio Operation

AM/FM tuner with 30 presets.

  1. Select band: Press AM/FM on remote.
  2. Tune: Press TUNE +/– to scan, or hold for auto-scan.
  3. Save preset: Tune to station, press and hold 1-9 button until "MEMORY" appears.
  4. Recall preset: Press AM/FM, then press numbered preset button.

Note: For better FM reception, fully extend wire antenna and position vertically.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning. Use soft, dry cloth for media center and speakers. For stubborn stains, dampen cloth with water only.

CAUTION! Do not use solvents or abrasive cleaners. Do not allow moisture into vents or ports.
