Getting Started

Power on headphones and pair with your device.

  1. Charge the headphones: Connect USB-C cable to headphones and a power source. LED indicator will glow amber while charging, white when fully charged.
  2. Power on/off: Slide and hold the power button for 2 seconds. You will hear a tone.
  3. Pair with device: On first use, headphones enter pairing mode automatically. On your Bluetooth device, select "Bose 15" from the list.
  4. Download Bose Music App: For firmware updates and personalized settings.

CAUTION! Use only the provided USB-C cable or a certified replacement. Do not expose to extreme temperatures.

Physical Buttons: Power (on/off, Bluetooth pairing), Noise Cancellation/Ambient Mode toggle, Voice Assistant button.

Touch Panel (Right Ear Cup): - Tap once: Play/Pause, Answer/End call. - Tap twice: Skip to next track. - Tap three times: Go to previous track. - Swipe up/down: Increase/decrease volume. - Swipe forward/back: Not assigned by default (configurable in app).

LED Indicators: - Flashing white: Ready to pair. - Solid white: Connected via Bluetooth. - Flashing amber: Battery low (less than 30 minutes remaining). - Solid amber: Charging. - Off: Powered off or fully charged.

Connecting to Devices

Bluetooth: Pair with smartphones, tablets, computers. Wired: Use 3.5mm audio cable.

  1. Ensure headphones are powered on and in pairing mode (flashing white LED).
  2. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and select "Bose 15".
  3. For wired connection, plug the 3.5mm cable into the headphones and your audio source. Power on headphones for active features.
  4. To connect to a second device, disconnect from the first or use the Bose Music app to manage connections.

Tip: For best audio quality, keep the device within 10 meters and minimize obstructions.

Using Noise Cancellation

Three modes: High (full ANC), Low (moderate ANC), Ambient (lets in outside sound).

  1. Toggle modes: Press the Noise Cancellation button on left ear cup to cycle through High, Low, and Ambient.
  2. You will hear a tone indicating the selected mode.
  3. In Ambient mode, you can still hear announcements or conversations without removing headphones.
  4. Adjust mode based on environment (e.g., High for airplanes, Low for offices, Ambient for walking outdoors).

WARNING! Do not use in situations where awareness of your surroundings is critical (e.g., crossing streets, operating machinery).

Voice Assistant & Calls

Press and hold the Voice Assistant button to activate your device's default assistant (Siri, Google Assistant, Alexa). For calls, the built-in microphone provides clear voice pickup.

Answering Calls: Tap the touch panel once when a call comes in. Ending Calls: Tap once during a call. Rejecting Calls: Press and hold the touch panel for 2 seconds. Muting Microphone: Double-tap the Voice Assistant button during a call (enabled in Bose Music app).

Care & Maintenance

Unplug cables before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe ear cups and headband. Do not use liquids or abrasive cleaners.

CAUTION! Do not immerse in water. Store in the provided case when not in use. Avoid extreme heat, cold, or humidity.
