First-Time Setup

Proper setup ensures optimal sound quality.

  1. Positioning: Place speakers at ear level when seated, angled slightly toward listening position.
  2. Distance: Position speakers 6-10 feet apart for stereo imaging.
  3. Wall mounting: Use included brackets, ensure secure attachment to wall studs.
  4. Amplifier matching: Set amplifier volume to minimum before powering on.

CAUTION! Do not overtighten mounting hardware. Ensure brackets are securely attached before placing speakers.

Specifications

Controls and Connections

No electronic controls on speakers. All control via connected amplifier/receiver.

Connections: Spring-loaded terminals accept bare wire or pins (16-22 gauge). Red terminal = positive (+), Black terminal = negative (-).

Mounting: Multi-position bracket allows vertical or horizontal orientation. Bracket attaches with included screws.

Positioning: For best sound, position with tweeters at ear level. Angling speakers inward improves stereo imaging.

Connecting to Audio Systems

Compatible with stereo receivers, amplifiers, and home theater systems.

  1. Turn off and unplug amplifier before connecting.
  2. Strip 1/2 inch insulation from speaker wire ends.
  3. Press spring terminal, insert wire, release to secure connection.
  4. Connect to amplifier: Match polarity (amplifier + to speaker +).
  5. Repeat for second speaker in stereo setup.
  6. Power on amplifier at low volume, test sound.

Tip: Use quality speaker wire for best performance. Keep wire runs as short as possible.

Optimal Placement

Proper placement significantly affects sound quality.

  1. Bookshelf placement: Position at front edge of shelf, not pushed back.
  2. Stand mounting: Use speaker stands for ideal height and positioning.
  3. Wall mounting: Mount securely with brackets, ensure level installation.
  4. Distance from walls: 6-12 inches from rear wall for balanced bass.
  5. Stereo separation: 6-10 feet between speakers for proper soundstage.
  6. Listening position: Form equilateral triangle with speakers.
  7. Near TV placement: Magnetic shielding allows placement beside TV.

WARNING! Do not place directly on floor or in corners where bass may become excessive. Avoid placement near heat sources.

Care & Maintenance

Unplug amplifier before cleaning. Use dry, soft cloth only; no liquids or cleaning solutions.

Grille care: Remove gently if needed, clean with soft brush. Do not wash or use chemicals.

Cabinet cleaning: Wipe with dry cloth. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen cloth with water only.

CAUTION! Do not spray liquids directly on speakers. Keep away from moisture and extreme temperatures.
